CRAIG NEWTON
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director
Craig Newton is a founder of Kynetyka and a Healthcare Business Executive with 35 years’ experience, notably in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and Biotech sectors, with activity in Australasia, Asia, North America and Europe. His tertiary and post-graduate qualifications cover Science and Business, including an executive program at Babson College, Boston.
His experience encompasses diverse therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular disease, oncology, haematology, cell therapies, fertility and immunology. The organizations have included CSL Limited, Serono UK, CSIRO, Bio Nova International, AVAX Australia and Cryptome Pharmaceuticals, with his most recent executive role as CEO and MD of ASX-listed cancer company Invion Limited.
Craig is also the founder and is a director at VivaZome Therapeutics Pty Ltd, a privately-held exosome therapeutics development company.
XENIA SANGO
Chairperson and Director
Xenia Sango is a founder of Kynetyka and a highly experienced healthcare executive with over 35 years in senior regulatory, clinical and international commercialisation roles having worked in Australia, Asia, Europe and the USA.
Xenia’s positions at CSL included Senior Director of Influenza Commercial Operations, Director of International Registrations, and Head of Regulatory Affairs. Xenia’s experience includes the registration of novel therapeutics, setting up CSL’s global regulatory function, and launching CSL’s flu vaccine in USA and Europe, including establishing subsidiaries in USA and Germany. In Japan, Xenia set up commercial and manufacturing operations for CSL.
As Business Development Research Manager Research at Epworth HealthCare, Xenia expanded the research business, managed the Clinical Research Unit and set up Phase 1b capability.
Xenia is the CEO and Managing Director of VivaZome Therapeutics Pty Ltd, a privately-held Australian biotech focussed on developing exosome therapeutics.
PETER BRADLEY
Chief Operating Officer
Peter Bradley GAICD is a senior science leader with over 30 years’
experience covering all aspects of medical science and business with a wide knowledge of the health, medical device and laboratory sectors.
His previous executive roles include VP of Global Business Development at ASX-listed LBT Innovations (now ASX:CC5) and Innate Immunotherapeutics (now ASX:ATX), General Manager at Clever Culture Systems, CEO and MD at KODE Biotech (NZ) and CEO at Australian Orthopaedic Innovations.
Peter has an extensive industry network based on his work in ANZ, North America and Europe and his long contribution to industry groups.
Peter has a science degree and a graduate degree from Melbourne Business School.
